So here i am, again stuck at another airport this time its not Atlanta for 12 hours but a cold lonely night sat sipping coffee with Gary..So who is Gary i here you ask ?.. good question.And after i bought him a medium coffee with milk and splendor he told me who he was……

Gary is the head legislator for the virgin islands, which i gather is part of the Bahamas and consists of three islands.. Gary comes from St Thomas originally but now lives in down town New York and like me has had his flight delayed until stupid o’clock……..So how did it start ?.Well after navigating Newark and by navigating i mean i did three laps of the joint before i could find the way out and somewhere to smoke without getting shot…..so towards the sliding doors i went, the snow and ice shouting “don’t do it daz its fucking freezing out here” so i sat down and rolled one and this voice goes “hey Kid” in that soprano’s style voice, “you look like you need a coffee” ….and with that the night of bad American coffee and dodgy donuts began…
So sipping my coffee like you do we sat there and chatted and i giggled at gary’s response as every women that walked by he was like “hey Kid” “what ya think of that then..” and i might add that gary is a 69 year old geezer happily married but still has a taste for anything with legs and boobs. He must of chatted up 20 women in the time we where there and with such skill and outstanding ability he woes them in for a chat….just like me..lol….oh god…..Help..
Here comes another one ? said Gary….i looked up….some guy was pushing an empty trolley around and dragging his left leg like it was a piece of luggage.. “Any spair change ?” i looked up….”plenty thanks” i replied….Gary chuckled amusingly
The geeeza was like” I been here 25 years Maaaaaaaaan”…….i looked at Gary and he said to the fella “What ya want us to pay you rent” all i could think about was what if that is me, stuck here for ever doing an endless loop around the many concourses for years never getting out and asking people for change….Please God i have been good (lately)
I would like to mention that there are far to many fat coppers here as well all fueled on Bad coffee and dunkin donuts byt the bucket load….they must do the rounds because i see them coming and going every 20 Min’s..what a life eh ? i’m glad i’m not a criminal coz they would never have a chance of catching me in a million years.
So what next ? what is there to do @ an airport at 2am in the morning ? you cant beat a bit of people watching can you..but where are all the people ? oh yeah ITS 2AM DAZ and every ones gone home…as time goes by Gary’s comments get more and more amusing and still in that authentic soprano’s accent……..Some dude walks by with a dodgy beard and a hat ” hey Daaaaaaaaz” “what is this a Hamish convention” i try not to show the amusement in my face, but i cant help but crack a grin….I was thinking Walton’s meats little house on the prairie but Hamish convention works for me…….
So as an adult to be fair i have started to feel drafts not in a grandad sort of way but yeah i do notice them……
Gary on the other hand as a black Caribbean “FEELS DRAFTS” and i mean yeah he’s like worked out the direction of the draft the velocity and wind chill and what we have to do to counter act the draft all with military precision…..we moved to the next group of seats….oh its like moving house, i get to look at Gate C from the other direction..and now watch the cleaners coming towards me instead of moving away…..the size of the place is really weird coz they are like crazy animals possessed with b rooms muttering under there breaths “get out if my way” ……”i fucking loves to clean”….footage to follow
